Bob Jones Physics Curriculum (2nd edition) focuses on motion (linear, circular, and rotational), kinetic theory, temperature and thermodynamics, fluids, wave theory, sound magnetism and electromagnetism, static and current electricity, basic electronics, and optics. The course also introduces quantum theory, relativity, and nuclear physics. Though highly mathematical and analytical, topics are presented conceptually through observation of physical phenomena to foster an appreciation for the way God reveals His nature through physics. Prerequisites are Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and/or Geometry, but students may take Algebra 2 or Geometry concurrently with this course.
