The Steck-Vaughn GED Language Arts, Reading Exercise Book provides you with practice in answering the types of questions found on the actual GED Language Arts, Reading Test. It can be used with Steck-Vaughn GED Language Arts, Reading book or with the Steck-Vaughn Complete GED Preparation book. This exercise book contains both practice exercises and simulated GED tests.

Practice Exercises
The practice exercises are divided into four units: nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and drama. The nonfiction unit includes general nonfiction selections, reviews about visual texts or viewing, and business documents. The fiction unit contains passages from literary works written during three time periods: before 1920, from 1920-1960, and after 1960. The poetry unit contains full-length poems of various types, and the drama unit contains excerpts from a variety of plays. Each unit provides practice in answering questions about literary selections similiar to those you find on the GED Test.

Simulated Tests
This exercise book contains two full-length Simulated GED Language Arts, Reading Tests. Each Simulated Test has the same number of items as the actual GED Test and provides practice with types of items similar to those on the GED Test. The Simulated Tests can help you decide if you are ready to take the GED Language Arts, Reading Test.
