Guide. Appropriate for 3rd - 4th Grade students. This curriculum begins in ancient Egypt, the middle
east, India, and China going back to the year 3750 BC with the earliest recorded history.
It ends with a look at the global economy of the 1990's.
The Teacher Guide provides direction in
assessing and grading student progress in completing their required assignments. Students
are required to keep a journal notebook in which they will complete various writing
assignments at the end of each chapter. The following exercises are provided at the end of
each chapter:
- Using Vocabulary - a fill in the blank
exercise
- Read and Remember - a finish the
paragraph exercise
- Journal Writing - Students write a few
sentences in their journal.
- Think and Apply - using critical
thinking skills
