IDAHO HOMESCHOOL LAW
Compulsory
School Age: 7 - 16
Idaho
state law offers one legal homeschooling option, which is to
provide an alternative educational experience. Under this option,
the child, considered "otherwise comparably instructed," is expected to
abide by an equivalent attendance policy and study similar subjects as
required by the public schools. Parents determine the curriculum
their children will use. There are no requirements
regarding parent/teacher qualifications, notifications, reports and
recordkeeping, or testing.
