INDIANA HOMESCHOOL LAW
Compulsory
School Age: 7 - 18
Indiana
state law offers one legal homeschooling option, which is to
operate a homeschool as a private school. Under this option,
attendance requirements are the same as those in the public schools,
which is generally 180 days per year. Attendance records must be
kept and maintained. There is no notification requirement unless
requested by the State Superintendent of Schools. There are no regulations
specifying subjects, parent/teacher qualifications, or testing.
