ARIZONA HOMESCHOOL LAW
Compulsory
School Age: 6 - 16
Arizona
state law offers one legal homeschooling option, which is to
establish and operate a homeschool. A notarized affidavit of
intent must be filed with the local school superintendent within 30 days
of the start and end of homeschooling (even if instruction is to be
delayed until the age of 8). Reading, grammar, math, social
studies, and science are required subjects. There are no
requirements regarding attendance, teacher qualifications,
recordkeeping, or testing.
