Idaho Homeschool Network
The vision of the
Idaho Home School Network is to bring together home
schooling families in the Post Falls/Coeur d'Alene,
Idaho area through programs where they can mutually
serve and support one another through what they have in
common. Our primary method for meeting this goal is
co-op classes. Co-op classes bring students together in
a shared learning environment, much like a traditional
classroom or school club. Our co-op classes are offered
for grades K-9+ and cover a wide variety of subjects
including: science, history, art, music, drama, chess,
sign language, Latin, Bible, journalism, P.E., and many
others. The Idaho Home School Network also offers field
trips, quarterly events such as history and science
fairs, and participates with other local home school
organizations in promoting conferences.

Southeast
Idaho Homeschool Association
If you are
home schooling your children in the
Pocatello area, we consider you a member!
We are a group of parents in Southeast Idaho who
are brought together by our interest in home school
excellence. We do our best to teach our children not
only the basic academic subjects, but also a respect for
the family values we hold dear. We respect each family's beliefs and
encourage the richness of shared association. We
encourage each parent to find the unique home schooling
method best for their family. We encourage families to
be politically active and to promote laws that support
our freedom to responsibly home educate our children. We are busy parents who
provide support to home schooling by taking turns writing
articles for the newsletter, organizing parent's
meetings, field trips, skate parties, and other
educational activities including an annual spelling bee,
geography bee, and science fair. |
