The Homeschool Association of California has
been around for a decade now, ever since a small group
of Bay Area homeschooling moms got together in 1987 to
start what was then called the Northern California
Homeschool Association. They’ve grown up a lot since those
early days of the two-page mimeographed newsletter. They
are a statewide organization of home schooling
families with lots to offer you to help you and your
family in its home schooling adventure. |
California

their children. It is with this in mind they have
assembled a plethora of information. |
Homeschooling Park Hoppers
We
are an all inclusive homeschooling park day group that
meets weekly in parks located throughout Santa Clara
County, CA. Our charter is simple: Provide a place for
homeschooling families to gather, share experiences and
ideas (homeschooling and otherwise), get silly, and
just have some good old fashioned fun. Our members, when
so inspired, may plan an occasional outing or activity.
Any member is welcome to post an announcement to the
group's
email list
or directly add the event on the group’s calendar via
individual member password.

Woodland Area
Christian Home Educators
WACHE is a
support group for Christian home educators in Woodland,
CA and surrounding areas. We believe that our children
are gifts from God, and that we have the responsibility
to train and instruct them according to God's
principles. Our primary purpose is to support Christian
home educators, with an emphasis on private education.
As homeschooling families, we work together to provide
opportunities for our children to grow, through classes,
field trips, monthly support meetings, and many other
activities. |
