Should students take a high school calculus course?  That is a question that serious students encounter as they plan their high school courses.  The answers vary depending on who you talk to.  High school teachers frequently advise talented students to take as many AP courses as they can, including calculus, to get ahead for college.  There are those who take a contrary view, however.
