Bob Jones Bible Truths Curriculum for First Grade

Bob Jones University Press has an extensive curriculum of high quality student and teacher books for school and homeschool use.  I have enjoyed using the BJU Press books throughout the years. These books have always performed well and been a joy to use, and the first grade Bible curriculum does not disappoint.

Strengths:

Bob Jones Bible Truths: God and His People

Bible Truths: God and His People is the Bob Jones Bible curriculum for 4th grade.  However, I used the teacher’s edition for family devotions for all of my children (ages 3 – 12), and then let my 4th grader do the student work-text.  You will need to purchase a novel and missionary biography as well to complete the assignments.  There is an optional CD of the hymns and test packet available for purchase. Lifepac Bible 4th Grade Curriculum Review

Strengths:
The Alpha Omega Bible Lifepac for 4th grade is formatted to encourage the student to work independently.  Each lesson is easy to read and understand with a clear work assignment.  There are questions at the end of each lesson that reviews the material.  As a parent I was happy that Bible verse memorization was part of the curriculum.  The student is required to study the Bible and given scripture references to read as part of the lesson.  Bible class in which a Bible is required, not just workbook skills, but finding , reading and answering questions from the King James Bible help the child develop Bible study skills.  Scripture memorization is in the King James format.  Tests  include writing … Read the rest of this post…
