Pure Creations - Fine Arts Course for Homeschoolers
Pure Creations is a nine-month fine arts curriculum that assists you in teaching art, music, and drama to your children from a classical perspective. Classes are offered by numerous teachers through our website to children in the vicinity of Greenville, SC. The program originally began in the Charleston area, which helped to fill a growing need for arts education within the home education community there. Our Basic Arts Curriculum consists of studies in art, music, drama through the chronological sequence of arts history. Each year your child can study a different historical period of the arts, so they learn the arts as they were developed. |

South Carolina Home Educators Association (SCHEA)
SCHEA was formed in 1987 to support home educators in South Carolina and to perform a lead role to create legal protection for home education in South Carolina. SCHEA, working with many other concerned individuals and organizations, was instrumental in convincing the state legislature to create the first South Carolina law requiring recognition of home schooling in 1988. Today, committed volunteer home school families from across the state continue to work through SCHEA to create opportunities and support to the home school community and promote an accurate and favorable image of home education in South Carolina. |
