Horizons Math Curriculum
Alpha Omega Horizons math curriculum for kindergarten to 7th grade is academically challenging yet designed to make elementary subjects enjoyable for both parents and students. Composed of manipulatives, memorization and drill, Horizons Math concepts, from addition and subtraction to graphs and estimation, follow a deliberate pattern of introduction and gradual development to ensure student success. The goal of Horizons Math is for your student to develop solid math reasoning skills and learn to apply these skills to real-life situations. The seven major themes covered are Numbers, Order, and Value; Addition and Subtraction; Ratios, Measurement, and Decimals; Fractions and Comparison; Equations, Colors, and Geometry; Graphs, Estimation, and Solving; and Multiplication and Division.
