1) How are my sales measured?
Sales, clicks and commissions are all measured and reported in real time by our affiliate program software. The program uses the linking code which we provided to you and you posted on your site to track your visitors all the way through our site.
2) How are my sales commissions calculated?
Your sales commission is calculated at 10% of dollar sales to visitors who come to us directly from your site. Commissions are not paid on shipping costs, only on product sales.
3)Are affiliates required to have their own website?
Yes, all affiliates are required to have their own website. However, if you do not have a website you can easily create a free site or a blog site and post your links there.
4) Do you offer a multi-tiered program?
No this program only has one tier. Affiliates are paid commissions only for sales coming from visitors who came to our site after clicking the affiliates link to our site.
5) How long do visitors have to make a purchase and still be credited to my account?
You will receive credit for visitors coming to us directly from your site to ours. As long as the visitor does not delete their cookies, you will continue to earn commissions on all purchases they make for the next 30 days, even if their subsequent visits do not come directly from your site to ours. If they delete their cookies then come to our site directly, we have no way of knowing they originally came from your site.
6) How often do you pay affiliates?
Paypal payments are sent to all affiliates every two weeks. You will need a PayPal account to get paid. All we need from you is the email address you used when you opened your PayPal account.
7) How do I link to your site?
After you sign up as an affiliate, log in to your account. Once you are logged in, you will find the text and banner link code you need to include in your site to start earning a sales commission. You can use the default linking text to link to our home page or click the custom link option to create a link to any page on our site.
8) Is it okay to send out emails to get more visitors to your site?
Sending out emails to your opt-in mailing list is great. However, sending out emails to anything beyond your own opt-in list is considered spam, which is a big problem. We do not endorse or permit our affiliates to send out unsolicited emails to promote visits to our site. If we find out that any affiliate is doing this, we immediately terminate our affiliate agreement with that affiliate. Any unpaid earnings generated by that affiliate are forfeited.
9) What is the best time of the year for your sales?
Our business has two peak seasons each year. First, our textbooks and workbooks peak during the third quarter months (July to September) with the back-to-school season. Second, our educational toys peak during the fourth quarter month (November and December) with the Christmas season.
