New Mexico Homeschool Groups and NM Homeschooling Support

Getting connected to the information you need and to other experienced homeschool parents can help build confidence for new homeschool parents. Since homeschool laws vary from state to state, we recommend contacting a homeschool group within your state. The links below provide you with some support groups in New Mexico. Visit their websites or contact them for information. You can also see more details about New Mexico homeschool laws.

Another great source for information is your local school district office. With the increased popularity of homeschooling across New Mexico , it has become more common for the district superintendent to designate a staff member to assist homeschooling parents.

You can find more homeschool support under our 'Support' tab at the top of this page, including our free product catalog and free online learning sites for all core subjects. To find homeschool curriculum books and materials, just hold the mouse over the 'Shopping' tab. There you can shop by subject, by grade level, by brand and by product type.

We are working to build a fellowship which recognizes each member's valuable contribution. Our operation is based upon mutual respect, member initiative, and a democratically based decision making process.

Santa Fe Community School Home Study Program (SFCS HSP)
Founded in the fall of 1968, today the Santa Fe Community School (SFCS) is a state-recognized, regionally and nationally-accredited private school, now with two campus locations: New Mexico and Colorado. Although SFCS began in 1968 as an alternative day school with only 60 primary and secondary-aged students participating in the educational program on our Santa Fe campus, since then we have been serving hundreds of homeschool families each year from all around the world with our Home Study Program (HSP), thru which students are supervised by their parents under the auspices of SFCS.
Sierra County Homeschool Association
Sierra County Homeschool Association provides support for the homeschool education process. The independence of homeschoolers is respected and supported with activities and materials chosen by the members.  SCHA provides both social and academic events for anyone interested.
