WV Homeschooling Support

Getting connected to the information you need and to other experienced homeschool parents can
help build confidence for new homeschool parents. Since homeschool laws vary from state to state, we recommend contacting a homeschool group within your state.
The links below provide you with some support groups in West Virginia. Visit their websites or contact them for information. You can also see more details about
West Virginia homeschool laws.
Another great source for information is your local school district office. With the increased popularity of homeschooling across West Virginia
, it has become more common for the district superintendent to designate a staff member to assist homeschooling parents.
You can find more homeschool
support under our 'Support' tab at the top
of this page, including our
free product catalog and free
online learning sites for all core
subjects. To find homeschool
curriculum books and materials, just hold
the mouse over the 'Shopping' tab. There you can
shop by subject,
by grade level,
by brand and
by product type.

We meet on alternating Tuesdays at a
local church. Parents teach
classes based on areas of interest and
ability. Classes vary by semester, but
generally include art, gym, and science.
Contact Mary or Stephanie for a listing
of the current classes offered. After
classes, we gather for lunch and social
time.
We also offer a variety of
field trips.

talents as well as provide a more in depth
