| Get Paid for Writing Articles

We're looking for short articles of 500 words or more on topics related to school books, homeschooling, software, science kits, toys, games and hobby items.

Author's are assigned the title along with 2 keyword phrases for each article.

Initially only one article is assigned to new authors. If that goes well, more assignments will follow.

New authors must first register on our site to create an account with us. Authors then sign into their account to submit new articles.

Your articles will be reviewed by our staff within 7-10 days and if approved will be published on our website and on other sites too.

Authors pay rates vary by article topic based on our estimate of the amount of time required and the level of expertise required.

We provide the research for you so you can focus on writing. For most articles, we provide a link to at least one research site. Sometimes we provide links to up to five research sites. Authors do not have to use all the research sites. Just enough to get the article written. We provide the payment information for each article when it is assigned.

If any article fails to get approved, we send an email explanation to the author and wait for it to get revised. We only pay for approved articles.

Payments are sent by mail or by PayPal (for non-US residents) within 1-2 weeks of approval.

To get started and to get your articles approved, please follow these instructions closely:

If you are located inside the United States, you have the option to be paid by direct deposit or by check. U.S. residents also need to provide us with your Social Security number for tax reporting purposes.

If you are located outside the United States, your payment will be paid to your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account, please open one here before you register with us. You must enter your PayPal email address in the registration form. We do not need your PayPal account number. We only need the PayPal email address which you used for your PayPal account.

After registering, log into your new account to view additional resource content only visible to registered users. You will not be able to complete any of the remaining steps until you register and log in because the contents will not be visible.

Read the Author Agreement by logging into your account, then click the 'Articles' tab > Author Agreement.

For your convenience, we send you links to research sources for each article. In addition, we have listed our favorite research sites which you can use to find content to help you write your articles. These research sites are found by logging into your account, then click the 'Articles' tab > Article Research. There you will find categories of research sites including book reviews, curriculum reviews, subject overviews and school market trends.

Write your article content to fit the article title and category title which we provided.

Include each of the 2 keyword phrases twice in the article. Do not modify the keyword phrase in any way.

Submit your new articles by logging into your account, then click the 'Articles' tab > Submit New Articles. Articles can be submitted in rich text format or HTML (by clicking the 'Source' button). Assign your article to any category. It does not matter which one because we have opted not to use that feature.

Submitted articles will be reviewed within 7-10 days. You will be notified by email whether your article has been approved or rejected. If your article is rejected, you will be provided with the reasons. You may re-submit rejected articles for approval. We only pay for approved articles.

Approved articles will be processed for payment within 1-2 weeks. After payment is processed, it reaches your bank within 3 business days. The total time from article submission to payment received is about 2-3 weeks.
