These worksheets are designed to encourage a positive approach to listening to songs from 15 of the most well-known Broadway musicals. A plot summary, opening date, composer, lyricist, and analysis of four or five songs from each musical are included. The songs are not necessarily studied in the same order as they occur in the musicals.
There are three listening guides for each musical, with one or two songs on each page. The third listening guide asks for students opinions of the musical, for a total understanding. This teachers guide provides reproducible plot summaries.
