Kids learn shapes, designs, spatial relationships, angles, fractions, area, perimeter, symmetry, and coordinates with geoboard activities.
Encourage problem-solving and exploration of shape, design, spatial relationships, angles, fractions, area, perimeter, symmetry and coordinates with these 64-page reproducible activity books.
Each of the seven sections in the Primary Geoboard Activity Book focuses on a related group of activities. The blackline masters build sequentially on students' prior learning and involve copying, manipulating or designing on the geoboard. As students learn geometry via the manipulation, their visual thinking and spatial reasoning skills will improve. Students will also refine problem-solving strategies, particularly in terms of guessing, checking and revising their work.
Teaching suggestions are outlined at the beginning of each section. (Ages 5 to 8)
Geoboards are math manipulatives providing hands on activity exercises for kindergarten and elementary grades. |
