This popular program provides beginning readers with experience recognizing and combining phonetic sounds in order to read words, phrases, sentences, and stories. The 2nd grade set includes student books and teacher guides. Details on the contents of these materials are as follows:
- Books 5 and 5 1/2 introduce word families all-alk, old-olt-oll, ild-ind; qu words; three-letter blends thr, shr, scr, str, spr, spl; diphthong -ey; three sounds of -ed. .
