In Penmanship to Praise 1st grade, the sweet Word of God is the model! The Psalmist wrote: "How sweeet are Your Words to my lips...Yes, sweeter than honey." Penmanship to Praise is a penmanship program for grades K-6. It features a five-day-per-week basis for lessons in spiral-bound tablet format for ease of use. It's equipped to take the student step-by-step through the writing process and designed to encourage the natural progression from large to small motor development in grades K-3. WEAVER CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The Weaver homeschool handwriting curriculum is a unit study for students from preschool through high school that teaches fundamental knowledge and skills within the context of the Scriptures. It's supported by daily lesson plan books, teaching tips and techniques, learning benchmarks and guidance on child development. This curriculum is a Bible based unit study. Parents teach all their students the same unit topics at the same time. The main teaching method is an activity - based, hands - on approach, which encourages students to learn through sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch. |
