Horizons offers a math and language arts program for elementary students. Each of the 160 lessons begins with a new concept or an expansion of a previously covered concept. One section contains practice on the new concept for the day. The other sections present review and development exercises on concepts already covered in previous lessons. Individual programs within the Horizons include Kindergarten Phonics & Reading, Phonics & Reading Grade 1, Spelling & Vocabulary Grades 1-2, Penmanship Grades 1-3, and Math Grades K-6. Each subject has 160 lessons to cover a full school year. All of the Horizons books are colorful, fun, and hold the students interest.
