Click here to see sample pages. Horizons Penmanship is an elementary curriculum for students in the 2nd grade. Horizons Penmanship handwriting practice books help students build a strong foundation in communication skills through a wide variety of lessons and activites that practice spelling, vocabulary, penmanship and creative writing. In addition, the course helps your child become more familiar with Scripture by writing out weekly Bible verses. The Horizons Series is published by Alpha Omega Publications and is a Bible Based Curriculum.

The friendly, colorful cartoon characters found in the Horizons Penmanship curriculum will help your students to:
- Learn the correct formation, appropriate size and correct spacing of upper- and lower-case letters
- Gain an increasing control of Penmanship such as pencil grip, paper position, stroke and posture
- Use word and letter spacing and margins to make messages readable
- Correctly use basic capitalization and punctuation
- Memorize scripture by writing a weekly Bible verse
Additional Features:
The 32-week format of the curriculum feature five lessons per week that will provide letter and formation practice, with the fifth lesson being a special "picture page" for the student to color and write a selected Bible verse - that's 160 lessons that are certain to excite and challenge any student!
